A Frenchman living in Dublin, Ireland for several years now, I enjoy the burgeonning new consciousness arising here, the warmth of the Irish heart and the seemingly never ending good weather. And yes, I do miss French food. Occasionally.
I realised I wanted to express a few ideas, thoughts, reflexions, discoveries maybe, and that I was somewhat dissatisfied or disappointed with a lot of what’s been offered to us in the mainstream media, on the telly, the Internet etc., and I woke up this morning and that thought came to me “I want to write a blog.” Here it is. And I don’t really know where I’m going with this… We’ll see. I can imagine, a mix of politics and spirituality. Funny, the discomfort I feel in writing “spirituality”. As if it was something reserved to an elite, to a few people who “know better” or “have been there”, and that I was not “qualified” to express spiritual views. I think I have really made that word “spirituality” a big one in my little head. Maybe “spirituality” should not be such a big world after all. Maybe it should not be reserved to “spirituality” experts or teachers? He he…
I was going a bit off track there. Or was I?
Anyways. As they say in A.A., “Take what you like and leave the rest.” I’ll probably be sometimes overly serious, a bit boring, maybe self-opinionated and/or arrogant, but hey! I’m French! Forgive me if I am. (Boring, self-opinionated and/or arrogant, not French!) I’ll try to bring a bit of humour as well if I can. That’d be the Irishness growing in me…
